Self inking rubber stampers are used for the majority of office applications such as return address, bank endorsement, faxed, posted, signature, engineering seals, and custom notary rubber stamps. Another popular product used for stamping is a dater. Daters are created using heavy duty mounts that have spinning date wheels built in. Each day of the year can be printed by spinning the wheels to a new setting. Customized engraved rubber dies can be added to the self inking daters to make unique stamps for applications such as receiving, shipping, faxing, posting and more. The custom self inking dater stamp is useful in many business applications. Wood mounted custom rubber stamps are made by laser engraving the rubber to meet your exact wording and art requirements. We then crop it, apply a stamping cushion, and mount it to wood sawed the exact size of the die. This is the least expensive stamp to buy but the most labor intensive to make. The crafting and art stamp is made using this technique. One advantage to wood mounted is that you can use different colored ink pads with the same stamp. It also allows you to use specialized inks that dry quickly or only show under ultra violet light. These unusual inks do not work in traditional self inking rubber stampers. They can only be applied using a separate ink pad.
